Chief Financial Officer: Bart G. Thompson
Bart G. Thompson is a co- founder of Ideal Care, LLC. His career in caring for the developmentally disabled began in 1985 as the father of a Down Syndrome baby boy, Blake. This life altering event has been a blessing and allowed him to view life in a much different and more meaningful way.
Bart has been a very successful businessman. He was instrumental in founding two start- up companies. He owned these companies and served as Chairman, President and CEO. Bart came out of an early retirement to concentrate on the growth and success of Ideal Care, LLC which is a Supported Living Services Agency in San Diego, California.
Bart spends much of his time involved in the life and care of his Down Syndrome son, Blake. This has enabled Bart to have increased awareness of the many community outreach, support, and social networking programs available for special needs individuals. Bart and his family have seen amazing growth and maturity in Blake since he entered the Supported Living Services program. Blake, with the support of loving staff and family, is living a full and independent life. Supported Living has allowed him to do this.
Bart’s goal is to help his wife and co-founder of Ideal Care build this company so we may tailor fit a support plan for each one of these special and wonderful individuals so they have the opportunity to live the full, purposeful, and independent lives that they deserve.
